GIS data conversion and system
management
- We
consolidate existing and fragmented Geographical
Information Systems to better and more efficiently meet
the needs of the client. If no system is currently in
place, we create (and can maintain) completely
customizable systems.
Database development and
management
- For those systems not based in
GIS, we consolidate existing and fragmented databases to
better and more efficiently meet the needs of the
client. If no system is currently in place, we create
(and can maintain) completely customizable databases.
GIS/GPS curriculum development
targeting diverse audiences
- We
simplify and customize GIS/GPS information and
technology to meet the specific needs of the client.
Plant identification
- We travel
to desired sites to identify the flora present and/or
train clients in the identification process.
Additionally, we accept properly preserved, unknown
plant specimens for later identification. The majority
of our botanical experience is in the Intermountain and
Pacific Northwest.
Environmental monitoring
- We help
design and carry out ecological studies, specializing in
(but not limited to) plant-herbivore interactions and
plant-plant interactions.
Public outreach
- We design
and create PowerPoint presentations, informative books,
informative brochures, and informative signs for diverse
audiences and regarding diverse topics, to be delivered
by the client. We also deliver such material ourselves,
having extensive experience presenting to and working
with a wide array of audiences.
Website development and management
- We
design, create, and can maintain completely customizable
websites.
Technical writing
- We
specialize in (but are not limited to) grants,
scientific articles for scholarly journals, public
outreach plans, and land management strategic plans.

Tutorials and Tips
As we help local agencies develop their systems
for GIS management, small steps tend to be
forgotten. We have created the
tutorial page solely for this purpose. The
tutorial section of this website is meant to be used
in conjunction with the on site training we have
provided. Click on any of the topics for help in
that area. Tutorials
are maintained online to ensure continuous access and to
allow the end users to learn at their own pace.
